Our Business Area Electrification (EE) develops and produces battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. Additionally, the business unit includes our aftermarket division, Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), offering products and solutions for nearly all types of on-/off-highway and shore vehicles, with a strong focus on thermal and energy management solutions.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Design of complex mechatronic test benches based on the product and test specifications and selection of suitable components and measuring equipment, taking into account legal requirements (e.g. occupational safety, CE conformity)
• Detailing of the test bench design and coordination with the construction contractors (e.g. external suppliers and service providers, Webasto design, prototype technician), cost and schedule planning and coordination of the construction work.
• Commissioning and verification of the performance parameters of the test bench, preparation of the risk assessment as well as the operating and work instructions
• Selection and verification of the suitability of measurement and test procedures based on the product and test specifications
• Organization and monitoring of the maintenance of the test equipment

This is what you bring to us:

• Completed technical studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
• Experience in project management and coordination of external service providers and suppliers
• Experience in dealing with measurement technology/software and measurement data processing/analysis, test methodology and statistics as well as automation
• Good analytical skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Fluent German, good written and spoken English skills
