We are currently searching for a national expert on private sector development for a proposal opportunity in Jordan aiming at strengthening the green economy in Jordan through policy advisory and green business development activities.
Description of tasks:
- Joint responsibility with the Team Leader for delivery of developing technical support services for industrial enterprises to identify and implement concepts of cleaner and resource efficient production, as well as developing and piloting green business cases.
- Providing technical support to the private sector.
- Organising and coordinating the call for ideas.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with private sector companies.
Qualifications:
- University qualification (diploma/masters) in economics, business administration or environmental engineering.
- Knowledge of Arabic C2 and English C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- 7 years of professional experience in the field of sustainable industrial production.
- 5 years of experience working with industrial enterprises on implementing circular economy business models, environmental standards or resource efficiency measures.
- 1 year of leadership experience in public, private or international organisations.
- Development Cooperation (DC) experience: 2 years of experience in DC projects.
