ERP System Application Manager (m/f/d)

Our ERP system proAlpha is a central component of our business processes and is operated in an external data center. Actively shape our ERP landscape as Application Manager (m/f/d) for our ERP system proAlpha. Take responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the system and act as an interface between the specialist departments, the proAlpha application operation, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic further development of the ERP system:
   • You ensure that our ERP landscape is continuously optimized and adapted to new business requirements.
   • With your in-depth understanding of business processes, you will independently derive requirements and manage their implementation.
2. Coordination of external service providers:
   • You monitor SLA agreements and ensure that external service providers reliably implement our internal requirements.
3. Workflows, forms, and authorizations:
   • You set up workflows and automation processes and manage our authorization system.
   • You will also develop existing forms and create new ones.
4. Project support and onboarding:
   • You accompany rollouts and system implementations in international subsidiaries and ensure the training and onboarding of new locations and teams with proAlpha.
5. Change management and support:
   • You support the specialist departments with process improvements in the ERP system and ensure a high level of user satisfaction on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• A degree in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in the support and further development of ERP systems, ideally with proAlpha.
• Sound knowledge of workflow management and authorization systems.
• Experience in working with international teams and in managing external service providers.
• Analytical thinking skills that enable you to understand and optimize complex processes.
• Knowledge of business analysis methods such as BPMN and ideally UML.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
