This position serves as the technical expert for control systems supporting board machine and other continuous process equipment directly involved in manufacturing /li /ulpHow you’ll make an impact… /pulliManage and support plant control systems: Design, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, drives, motors, and industrial networks supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations /liliLead automation projects and improvements: Manage control system upgrades, machine automation, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives from planning and installation through commissioning and startup /liliProvide technical troubleshooting and production support: Serve as the site technical expert for complex automation issues, provide on-call support when needed, and work with Operations and Maintenance to resolve equipment and process problems /liliEnsure compliance, safety, and documentation: Maintain control systems and projects in compliance with OSHA, electrical, environmental, cybersecurity, and company standards while developing engineering standards, programming documentation, and work instructions /liliLead teams and collaborate across the organization: Direct and develop Controls Engineers and Technicians, coordinate daily work and resources, oversee contractors, and collaborate with local and global engineering teams to improve safety, quality, reliability, and productivity /li /ulpWhat do you bring… /pulliBachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related technical field required /lili10+ years of experience in industrial automation, process controls, or manufacturing systems; paper manufacturing experience preferred. 8+ years leading and providing technical training and mentoring skills /liliProven experience managing and leading technical teams, with strong capabilities in project management and resource planning /liliExtensive programming and engineering proficiency in ABB DCS, Siemens, Allen Bradley, HMI/SCADA systems, industrial networking, and instrumentation /liliDemonstrated project management skills including new equipment install, start-up to commissioning; capital projects and automation/continuous improvement projects.
