With a successful history in their home market, this client is excited to bring vehicles and services to the European market, starting with Munich, Germany.

They are seeking a Sales Operations and Distribution Manager to focus on the German market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and manage sales operations processes to support the sales team as well as dealers and independent distributors in achieving targets and objectives.
• Lead the sales forecasting process, including retail and wholesale projections, demand planning, and inventory management.
• Manage the vehicle pipeline for the entire distribution network to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of vehicles to independent distributors, dealerships and fleet customers.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery timelines and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
• Implement performance KPIs to track progress and measure success against established goals along the entire supply chain.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management and finance, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales operations, distribution management or a related role in the automotive industry.
• Proven track record of managing sales operations and distribution networks, preferably in a multi-national environment.
• Strong understanding of automotive industry trends, distribution networks, and logistics management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
