Overview
In this role you lead and develop the production department to ensure throughput aligns with Supply Chain needs. You will plan machine utilization, drive cost-conscious decisions, and uphold quality and safety standards. You’ll support machine qualification, maintain equipment, and implement continuous improvements using Lean methodologies. You contribute to a production-lean environment, define new procedures, monitor KPIs, and lead internal audits and external assessments. This position combines leadership with hands-on manufacturing optimization in a patient-focused company.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and develop the department; drive team performance
- Ensure production throughput meets Supply Chain requirements
- Plan optimal machine utilization with focus on cost, quality, and deadlines
- Support qualification/validation of machines and equipment
- Maintain, service, and optimize operating equipment
- Initiate and implement continuous process improvements
- Foster a production environment based on Lean principles
- Develop procedures such as producibility assessments and manufacturing tests
- Monitor operational data and production KPIs
- Conduct and follow up on internal audits
- Serve as main contact for plant tours, audits, and department inquiries

- Several years of professional experience in a comparable production role
- Several years of leadership experience
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; structured and reliable work style
- Lean and safety-oriented mindset
- Strong technical understanding and process orientation
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities; ability to work independently and take ownership
- MS Office knowledge and SAP familiarity
