Overview
In this Quality-focused role at West, you will lead local quality initiatives for raw and packaging materials and represent them in global projects. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive audits, deviations, and continuous improvement. The position centers on ensuring compliant, efficient workflows and mastering quality metrics across functions. You’ll contribute to patient safety and product quality in a mission-driven, inclusive environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Execute local optimization projects for raw materials and packaging materials
- Represent local interests in global projects
- Lead and participate in supplier meetings and audits
- Prepare for and support customer and ISO audits
- Implement audit-driven actions with stakeholders
- Analyze and redesign internal workflows from a lean perspective
- Collaborate across departments to improve quality initiatives, systems, and methods
- Manage approved suppliers locally, including approvals and blocking
- Collect and trend quality-relevant metrics for other departments
- Prepare complaints and quality notifications in English and German
- Support OOS investigations for raw materials and packaging materials, with reports and documentation
- Prepare deviations, OOS cases, and process changes, with trend analysis and improvements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in a technical field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in quality management (pharma/GMP preferred)
- German and English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Strong MS Office knowledge
- Knowledge of statistical methods; SAP knowledge desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very strong assertiveness and conflict management skills
- QMR certification desirable or willingness to obtain it
