Overview
In this role you drive and lead packaging initiatives for elastomers and primary containment, shaping sterile packaging solutions for pharmaceutical customers. You’ll collaborate with global engineering, procurement, and quality teams to support life-cycle management and customer development projects. As a packaging subject matter expert, you will guide design history files, risk analyses, and testing to ensure product integrity. You’ll work across cross-functional groups to deliver innovative, scalable packaging—impacting patient safety and product performance. This is a hybrid, globally connected role with meaningful opportunities to influence containment and delivery technologies.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead technical packaging efforts for R&D from concept to commercialization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new packaging solutions
- Develop packaging solutions to support business growth and strengthen position in containment and delivery
- Create and maintain Design History Files including design inputs, risk analyses (FMEAs), test protocols, and design verifications
- Support customers and suppliers in development of new packaging solutions
- Coordinate packaging testing activities for engineering studies and protocols (internal and contract labs)
- Deliver technical reports, summaries, and presentations to management and core teams
- Identify and drive continuous improvement within the packaging group
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience leading projects in international, cross-functional teams
- Strong engineering fundamentals and technical writing abilities
- Experience with new materials, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies
- Ideally knowledge of aseptic pharmaceutical processing (preferred)
- Technical project leadership experience
- Excellent English (German advantageous)
- Willingness to travel up to 26 business days per year (10% travel)
