Your qualifications
- Mandatory requirements:
- Proven experience managing payroll operations and leading payroll teams.
- Direct payroll operations experience in at least one of the following countries: France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom or Portugal.
- Hands-on knowledge of ADP GlobalView.
- Strong understanding of payroll validation, reconciliation and control processes.
- Experience managing external payroll providers and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to lead a geographically distributed team remotely.
- Fluency in English.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience overseeing payroll across multiple European countries.
- Knowledge of Workday.
- Additional language skills relevant to the countries in scope.
Your tasks
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle across all countries in scope, including payroll calendars, input collection, validation, reconciliation and preparation for final sign-off.
- Lead and manage the payroll operations team, including workload allocation, absence planning and coverage.
- Manage external payroll providers, including service-level monitoring, quality checks, escalations and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting and local HR on data quality, payroll reconciliations and ad hoc requests.
- Perform final payroll checks and controls to verify the accuracy and completeness of each country’s payroll calculations.
- Coordinate the resolution of payroll discrepancies and elevate delivery risks before submitting payroll to the Director Payroll for final sign-off.
