- TCP/IP and IP networking
- Routing and switching
- VPN technologies and troubleshooting
- Firewalls and network security
- Load balancing
- DNS
- Network troubleshooting and fault isolation
- Practical experience with at least one major public cloud platform, such as: IBM Cloud AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud Platform Alibaba Cloud
- Experience should include a basic understanding of cloud networking concepts such as: Virtual networks / VPCs Subnets Routing Security groups / network ACLs VPN and private connectivity Cloud load balancers Cloud firewalls
- Experience in any of the following would be beneficial but is not required: DDoS protection services Infrastructure automation REST APIs Terraform Ansible Python or scripting Monitoring and observability tools

- Working with engineering and support teams to resolve issues
