Manager – Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting for Decommissioning and Decontamination Projects (D&D). The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule reporting to the Mannheim office a few days weekly.
Your Day to Day:
- Serve as the lead resource for financial closing, budgeting, cost accounting, analyses, and financial reporting for the D&D Solutions business segment.
- Provide project cost analysis, challenge and validate project estimates, and ensure sustainable forecasts to reduce risks.
- Manage full P&L and balance sheet, focusing on cash flow, ensuring timely cash collection and monitoring cash outflows.
- Lead the global, company-wide five-year business planning process for D&D in collaboration with operations and finance teams.
- Drive analysis, reporting, and forecasting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results at the global D&D level. Analyze key variances and business trends to advise the D&D leadership team on financial performance.
- Analyze complex, multi-country, multi-currency projects.
- Support business derisking strategies such as sell-offs, joint ventures, and partnerships.
- Enhance standardized monthly reporting processes across the D&D segment to support management.
- Provide guidance on accounting activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and advise management on actions and risks.
- Support internal and external financial reporting and analytics.
- Oversee D&D cost center budgets, including labor and capital expenditures, with review and approval responsibilities.
- Prepare performance reviews, coach analysts, and develop skills within the team.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA or Master’s in Accounting is a plus.
10+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and multinational corporate experience. Controller experience in a profit and loss organization is desirable.
CPA and/or MBA Preferred
Proven leadership skills with experience working across international regions and cultures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong empathy in multicultural environments.
Organizational skills, adaptability, flexibility, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, global environment.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
