We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to support our organization. This role combines the responsibilities of data scientist and data analyst, focusing on leveraging statistical techniques and machine learning to optimize business processes and drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to uncover actionable insights and support our digital transformation efforts. Main Responsibilities: Apply expertise in deriving valuable insights from large and complex data sets, including un-structured data using a combination of statistical and computational techniques. Understand the business operational processes that are the sources of data. Utilize critical thinking to recognize patterns and trends in data that yield insights on the physical processes represented by the data. Analyze large data sets to identify patterns and trends, providing clear, actionable insights that inform business strategies and decision-making for management and departmental needs. Create and maintain data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI to effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. Implement data analytics solutions using established relational data models, in alignment with the priorities defined by the team. Support the transition from manual reporting to automated solutions and enhance digital transformation efforts by promoting data-driven approaches. Collaborate with Data Engineers and other team members to ensure data is properly collected, stored, and processed for analysis. Support the organization in addressing ad-hoc data inquiries and deliver valuable insights to various departments. Apply advanced analytical methods, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and insight that help business make informed decisions. Develop, implement, and evaluate machine learning models to predict outcomes based on historical and live data. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions, improve outcomes and create predictive models to provide insights that support drive business growth. Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning. Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java or R and familiarity with machine learning frameworks. Strong foundation in statistical analysis and modeling techniques. Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI Experience with statistical analytical tools and Microsoft stacks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for effective collaboration across teams. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and address business problems using data insights. Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases is preferred. Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies is a plus. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
