Electrical Design Engineer

Due to a growing volume of work, we are looking to hire an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a broad skill set across various disciplines, including design, engineering, construction, procurement, maintenance, and project management. Key Responsibilities & Accountability A strong ability to understand project objectives and deliverables Design and specification of electrical installations, from low voltage (LV) to 33kV systems Comprehensive modelling of electrical systems, including load calculations, fault level assessments, and coordination of protective measures Ensuring designs and on-site work comply with relevant standards and regulations Developing technical specifications for electrical equipment Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes The successful applicant will possess: A minimum qualification of HND/HNC or an equivalent credential is essential A minimum of five years of experience in electrical design Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other technical / electrical modelling software applications such as Amtech, ETAP, Power Factory, etc. Familiarity with relevant technical standards is required Strong skills in professional report writing If you are interested in applying for this role please send your CV and letter of application explaining how you meet the requirements of the role to: Quartzelec is an equal opportunities employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
