We want you to join us as a/an … Product Owner (80 – 100%) Your mission: In this role, you will join one of our SAFe teams, responsible for the maintenance and continuous development of some of Skyguide\’s aeronautical surveillance data management systems. Your main objective will be to maximize delivered value. This involves managing the team\’s backlog, prioritizing user stories and features, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with the system\’s users representing their voice and ensuring that the team\’s solutions meet customer expectations and solve their problems. Your tasks: Be the owner of some of our core air traffic management (ATM) systems and its backlog. Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and other agile teams to maximize the product\’s business value by managing the team backlog, preparing features and user stories, creating documentation, and helping prioritize OPS defects. Participate in Scrum/SAFE ceremonies as a Product Owner. Definition and writing of acceptance criteria for user stories and acceptance of team stories based on such definition of done. Occasionally travel to our branch offices (Switzerland) and suppliers (Europe). What we are looking for: Engineering degree or strong ATM background, with relevant IT knowledge. Experience in a similar position with good know-how of software engineering practices in an agile context (SAFe certification a strong plus). Familiar with DevOps capabilities and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, and Polarion). Empathy: You invest time in listening and understanding others, ask thoughtful questions to explore their emotions and experiences, and offer help and encouragement when needed. Leading business: You actively shape the future by creating customer value, contributing to sustainable success, while courageously anticipating needs and taking ownership of risks.
