Project Engineer Black Utilities 100 %

In this role, you will support the Global Engineering Team during the planning, construction, and start-up of units and plants in the Black Utilities Infrastructure sector as a Project Engineer for Black Utilities. Your responsibilities will include developing and validating ideas and requests, conducting feasibility and conceptual studies while considering regulatory requirements and internal guidelines in collaboration with project partners. You will advance these proposals until they receive internal approval for execution. Following approval, your focus will shift to supporting project execution until successful start-up. As an engineer, you will perform necessary calculations, generate required documents and specifications, and collaborate with internal and external partners until the start-up and as-built documentation are finalized. Project Duration: 12 Months Starting Date: ASAP Place of Work: Visp Responsibilities Verification of ideas and requests, feasibility and conceptual studies for projects until internal approval for execution, in collaboration with both internal and external team members (Electrical, Measurement and Controls Engineering, Civil Engineering, HVAC Engineering, 3D Planning, Field Engineering/Construction Management, Fire Protection, General Planners, and other Subject Matter Experts) Plant design and execution of projects, coordinating with internal and external engineering partners until successful plant start-up Support and oversight of 3D coordination, resolution of conflicts, adjustments, etc. Responsibility for commissioning and acceptance of the systems, as well as participation in integral tests with the general designer/architect, internal engineering disciplines, piping contractors, etc., including the collection, control, and handover of the as-built technical documentation to the end user, and the transfer of the systems to the future owner and operator Additional tasks as required by the Global Engineering Team Candidate Profile BSc or MSc in Process or Chemical Engineering or similar 3+ years of work experience in project engineering and planning/construction/start-up of plants in Chemical, Pharma or Biopharma industry 5+ years of experience in either CAPEX Engineering and/or Operations Engineering in Chemical, Pharma or Biopharma industry Sociable and good communication Independent working style and able to work in a multi-discipline and complex environment Well-structured thinking and precise working ability Languages: Fluent in German and English (C1 level minimum) Job ID 41180318 #J-18808-Ljbffr
