Oversee and manage supplier quality, including supplier risk management and ensuring effective control and handling of suppliers. Operate independently from production and development, reporting directly to the CTO. Act as a member of the management team, working alongside heads of departments to ensure a cohesive approach to quality across the organization. Commit to and drive operational excellence throughout all processes. Build and maintain a comprehensive quality organization within the company, focusing on production and development. Be actively involved on the production floor, conducting checks and contributing to the processes. Who we are looking for We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality systems, preferably within the aerospace industry, and a strong technical foundation. This role requires a strong personality capable of navigating the demands of production, design, and sales environments. The Quality Manager will be responsible for building and implementing our quality management system and ensuring operational excellence across the company. Key requirements Proven experience in quality systems is a must, with hands-on experience in quality system tasks. A strong technical foundation, which can be either electronic or mechanical, supported by further education. Specialized training in quality is not expected but beneficial. At least 10 years of professional experience within a production environment. High proficiency in EN9100 quality standards, EASA Part 21 experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in the tension between production, design, and sales, with a well-established personal resilience. Experience in building quality systems in dynamic environments, not just maintaining existing systems. Ensure strict adherence to rules and maintain a keen eye for details in all aspects of the role. Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken. Nice to Have Proficiency in German is an added advantage. Experience in lean management is desirable.
