Site Finance Head Switzerland We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Finance Head to lead the financial operations at our site in Kaiseraugst. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes to support business objectives. This position will require a dynamic leader with strong financial and business acumen and the ability to partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive profitability, efficiency, and growth. Job Description Financial Leadership: Lead and manage the site\’s finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Provide strategic financial guidance to the site\’s leadership team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Act as a trusted advisor to site management on all financial matters, providing insights to optimize performance. Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports. Drive the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the site’s operational and strategic plans. Lead cost management initiatives and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements. Accounting & Compliance: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations. Manage internal controls and ensure proper financial processes are adhered to in line with corporate governance and audit requirements. Oversee tax reporting and compliance for the site, collaborating with external advisors as needed. Operational Support: Partner with site operations teams to drive performance improvements, cost control measures, and capital expenditure planning. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze financial trends to inform decision-making. Provide financial insight into production, inventory, and supply chain management, supporting operational excellence. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop the local finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Provide mentorship and training to finance team members, ensuring continuous professional development. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including senior management, operations, and external auditors. Communicate financial performance and key issues to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner. Requirements Education: Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: Proven experience in a senior finance role. At least 5 years of experience in financial management, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Experience in managing a finance team and working with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with MS Dynamics 365 is a plus.
