What\’s in for you An emerging game-changer in uncrewed aviation To be part of a high-tech company that is at the forefront of advancing drone technology and innovation A team of over 50 people from (currently) 12 nations and cultures A dynamic, motivated, hands-on and international working environment Transparent communication and open feedback culture with short communication lines Individual work-life balance solutions, flexible working models to support the personal and professional ambitions of our employees Unlimited space for entrepreneurial thinking and participation Respectful treatment at eye level, appreciation and equality 20% mobile office option Office space and production facilities with good connections to public transport Well-known and international customers, suppliers and partners Great team events A strong can-do/will-do culture 360° insight and 100% involvement in the processes and development steps of our drones 25 paid vacation days per year Key responsibilities Safely operate SwissDrones’ unmanned helicopters in BVLOS missions (EASA Specific category) upon thorough in-house training & qualification for the aircraft types Support internal flight test campaigns to validate system functionality and new features (VLOS & BVLOS flights) Perform mission planning including safety/risk assessments and documentation of Concept of Operations (ConOps) based on SORA framework according to EU 2019/947 regulation Ability to use and comprehend engineering & schematic drawings, graphic instructions, and other visual aids to inform flight planning Perform basic UAV maintenance activities as per maintenance requirements Write comprehensive flight reports and raise non-conformance reports and improvement opportunities related to system features and operational procedures Attend UAV operator trainings and maintain currency in certifications as required Support in payload operation Key requirements Manned aircraft pilot license; qualification CPL (A/H) or PPL EASA Part-66 licence or equivalent from a competent authority Flexibility to travel abroad for up to 30% of the time, typically for missions of up to three weeks at a time Personal traits: Self-driven, solution oriented, team player, can-do and hands-on attitude, strong safety & quality mindset High degree of flexibility, comfortable working in a dynamic and growing company English: C1 – Advanced Nice-to-Haves Experience in operating unmanned aircraft, preferably rotary wing platforms for commercial/professional use Tertiary education in an engineering field Knowledge in UAV payloads Any additional language is an advantage If you are a passionate and capable individual who wants to be part of a world-class team to shape the future of aerial intelligence, please send us your job application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
