As a consultant, you will support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and skills. Tasks Responsible for Design, Installation, and qualification of Automation systems for batch processing tanks, solvent recovery systems, filter dryers, HPLCs, filtration systems, Lyophilizers, ultra-low freezers, HVAC, solvent distribution and recovery systems, compressed air, purified water, and wastewater systems. Develop and train cross-functional team members on utilization and maintenance of new Automation systems for equipment and systems – by creating roadmaps, improving existing processes, creating new procedures, job aids, SOPs, and protocols as well as training of staff for these expectations. Troubleshoot Automation Systems and monitor trends to ensure that equipment works to its specifications and appropriate capacities. Lead engineering team and coordinate engineering activities to design, develop, and execute the automation part of strategic investment projects. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and objectives regarding processes, initiatives, and projects. Maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of programming problems. PLC / HMI Programming. Requirements Minimum a Bachelor\’s degree in engineering, industrial IT, or automation. Minimum of 2 years experience under GMP. Working knowledge of Industry Standards as it relates to Chemical, Pharmaceutical facilities or related facilities. Technical knowledge of automation, controls, instrumentation, batch programming, Programmable Logic Controllers, Distributed Control Systems, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems, Building Automation Systems, IT and OT networks and technologies. Knowledge of batch processing and recipe management. Sound knowledge of PLC programming, control and safety technology for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Experience with Siemens / Emerson Delta-V & Syncade / ROCKWELL / Allen Bradley. Experience with electrical and program troubleshooting. Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English and German). Ability to effectively organize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
