From the concept study (CD) through basic design (BD) and detail design (DD) to realization, commissioning and qualification, you will manage national and international projects. A project typically includes the new construction/conversion of complex production areas or complete factories and laboratory buildings of a pharmaceutical company. Especially as general planner you involve all internal departments and coordinate the planning teams. Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams Planning and monitoring the progress of the (overall) project during execution Controlling deliverables, quality, deadlines, budgets and milestones Carrying out project reporting to customers and superiors Moderating project reviews with customers, service providers and suppliers Leading team meetings with the following content: Deadlines, quality, costs, measures to ensure deadlines, challenges that arise, etc. Scope and change management Control of suppliers in all phases Coordination of internal and external approval processes Coaching and support of the project team Your profile: You will fit in with us if you have completed your engineering studies (e.g. in the field of chemical engineering, biotechnology, process engineering, supply engineering or technical building equipment / building services engineering or architecture) and ideally have 10 years of professional experience in a comparable position: including the successful handling of projects in the life science sector with high GMP standards, proven track record of experience with the construction or revamp of life science research and/or production facilities. Ideally, you also bring further training in project management, e.g. PMP. We are looking for a goal-oriented personality who is characterized by a structured way of working, quick comprehension and a high \“hands-on\“ mentality. As a leader, you have a confident manner and proactive approach, act as a role model for your team and have the necessary assertiveness. You are able to empathize with our customers, have a high level of enthusiasm and keep an eye on the essentials even in hectic situations. We expect you to be fluent in French and English.
