Job Description Test Strategy Development: Design and develop comprehensive test strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines. Test Plan Execution: Execute test plans manually, covering functional, integration, system, and regression testing to identify software bugs and issues. Quality Standards Enforcement: Ensure adherence to established quality standards and guidelines across all aspects of software development. Bug Tracking and Reporting: Utilize bug tracking tools to document and report issues, collaborating with the development team to prioritize fixes and monitor progress until resolution. Test Automation Oversight: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate testing processes and methodologies for efficiency and effectiveness, implementing enhancements as needed. Team Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the QA Team Lead detailing testing status, insights, and recommendations for enhancing product quality. Business and Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and other teams, to align on quality objectives. Qualifications Banking Industry Expertise: Leverage a minimum of 5 years\‘ experience in the banking sector , with a robust understanding of banking operations, regulations, and digital transformation trends. Strong familiarity with the Front-to-Back chain within Wealth Management banking, including extensive knowledge of trading activities Mandatory Swiss Resident Database Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in database scripting and querying languages (e.g., SQL) to validate data integrity and conduct back-end testing. Technical Proficiency: Utilize experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) and familiarity with software development languages (e.g., Java, Python) to enhance testing processes. Analytical Tools: Utilize familiarity with analytics and reporting tools to derive insights from test results and enhance testing strategies. Agile Methodology: Apply experience working in an Agile development environment, with understanding of Scrum and Kanban principles. Security Testing: Apply knowledge of security testing best practices and regulations relevant to the banking industry. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all software testing adheres to banking regulations and standards for security and data privacy. Data Validation: Execute database scripts and queries to validate data integrity and alignment with requirements. Technical Testing: Conduct technical tests and analyses to identify system vulnerabilities or performance issues affecting banking operations.
