Senior External Audit Manager / Sr Manager Are you a Swiss CPA looking for an exciting next step in your career? This is a unique opportunity to join our client, a niche boutique consulting firm, and take your skills to an international level by relocating to the United States. Our client is expanding their Swiss/U.S. team and we are supporting them again in looking for a driven professional to join their growing business. About the Role You’ll start your journey in Zurich, working closely with a collaborative Swiss team before relocating to one of the firm’s U.S. offices. While Chicago is the preferred location, you’ll also have the flexibility to choose from 7 locations across the U.S., including New York and Houston. Our client offers full support with relocation and visa processes, ensuring a smooth transition. This role is available at different seniority levels, from Manager to Director, depending on your experience and career goals. Your Responsibilities: Work directly with Swiss clients, leading finance projects and providing tailored advice. Manage and review financial audits for annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, Swiss GAAP, and IFRS. Collaborate with tax consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions. Drive business development efforts to expand the client base in the U.S. market. Lead and develop teams, ensuring high-quality results and fostering a collaborative environment. What You Bring Technical skills : A degree in Business Management, Economics, or a similar field. Fluency in German and English is a must, since you will work with Swiss clients the level needs to be business fluent (min. C1/C2). Strong experience in assurance services. Expertise in Swiss GAAP (Obligationenrecht), IFRS, and US GAAP (additional training will be provided). Human Attributes : A client-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
