At SCOTT, we\’re looking for a Social Media Trainee – Winter Sports and Running. As a Social Media Trainee, you will play an integral role in building and maintaining our online presence across social channels. This traineeship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow into a key role within the social media team. You’ll learn the ins and outs of content publication, manage an editorial calendar, and develop agenda-setting skills while gaining expertise in publishing tools and data analysis. Mission : Assist in managing daily social media content across platforms related to SCOTT\’s running and skiing global social media channels. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and brand-aligned posts, stories, and videos. Learn and use publishing tools (Sprinklr) to schedule and organize posts. Help maintain and update the editorial calendar, ensuring timely publication of content. Monitor and engage with the online community, responding to comments and fostering positive interactions. Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and reach. Collaborate with local markets on agenda setting and distribution of local content. Stay up-to-date with trends in sports and social media to create relevant and innovative content. Assist in brainstorming and planning social media campaigns to promote brand initiatives and events. Have the opportunity to support event activations in-loco at some of the highest profile events in sport (UTMB; Freeride World Tour) Our requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in communications or a related field Fluent English: Fluency in English is a must as this is the company’s main language. Passion for sports: particularly running and skiing, is highly desirable. Strong interest in social media trends, tools, and platforms. Excellent communication skills with a knack for storytelling and engaging writing. Basic understanding of photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a plus. Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn about performance metrics and reporting. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
