Air Freight Specialist – Hamburg | Up to €60,000

Salary: Up to €60,000 gross per annum

We are currently working with a well-established international freight forwarding business looking to recruit an experienced Air Freight Specialist to join its team in Hamburg.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Air Freight professional with a strong background in Air Export operations who is looking for a new challenge within a growing, internationally connected logistics business.
The successful candidate will take ownership of shipments from start to finish, working closely with customers, airlines and overseas partners to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities

Managing international Air Freight shipments from booking through to final delivery, with a strong focus on Air Export.

Preparing and processing all relevant shipping and customs documentation.

Coordinating bookings and shipments with airlines, customers and international agents.

Monitoring shipment progress and proactively resolving operational issues.

Maintaining strong relationships with customers and overseas partners.

Ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and in line with customer requirements.

Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in Air Freight Operations, ideally specialising in Air Export.

A solid understanding of international freight forwarding procedures and documentation.

Confidence managing shipments independently from start to finish.

Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

A proactive, customer-focused approach.

Good German and English language skills.
