pSenior SAP FICO Consultant - S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion Digital Planning /ppSenior SAP FICO Consultant required by Whitehall Resources for a 6+ Month extendable project assignment for our client based in Switzerland. /ppStart Date: December 2026/January 2027 /ppDuration: Long-term; currently planned at least until mid-2027 /ppOnboarding Approx. 6-8 weeks due to personnel security checks /ppLocation: Zurich, Switzerland /ppWorkload: 40% / 2 days per week /ppDelivery: 1-2 days per week onsite, rest remote /ppLanguage: Fluent English or Fluent German /ppOur client, a consulting firm, is looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to support a major Swiss banking client during an SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion. The consultant will be responsible for supporting the S/4HANA migration in the FI/CO environment, with a particular focus on CO planning and Digital Planning. A key part of the role is the conceptualization and realization of Digital Planning / CO Planning processes, combined with the technical execution and functional implementation of the S/4HANA conversion in the FICO environment. The project is long-term, with the current concept phase expected to run until at least mid-2027. /ph3Three Absolute Must-Have Skills: /h3ulliStrong SAP CO / CO Planning Expertise The candidate must have deep SAP Controlling expertise, with particular strength in planning processes within SAP CO. This is the core functional requirement of the role. /liliProven SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration Experience Candidates should have hands-on experience supporting or delivering SAP S/4HANA Brownfield transformations/migrations, ideally in a complex enterprise environment. Experience with the technical and functional implications of migrating existing SAP processes is particularly important. /liliHands-on SAP Customizing + Process/Concept Design The candidate must be able to work beyond pure advisory activities: they need to design processes and solutions, conduct customer workshops, and implement/configure the resulting solutions through hands-on SAP Customizing. /li /ulh3Key Responsibilities /h3h3S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion - FI/CO /h3ulliSupport and technically accompany the SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion in the FI/CO environment /liliContribute to the technical execution and functional implementation of the S/4HANA conversion /liliAssess existing FI/CO processes and support their transition to S/4HANA /liliIdentify migration, process, and configuration requirements resulting from the S/4HANA transformation /liliProvide hands-on support throughout the conversion and implementation activities /liliWork closely with the client and other SAP workstreams to ensure a successful FI/CO transformation /li /ulh3Digital Planning / CO Planning /h3ulliTake a leading role in the conceptualization and realization of Digital Planning /liliDesign and further develop CO planning processes /liliTranslate business requirements into sustainable SAP planning solutions /liliDefine target processes and concepts for planning in the S/4HANA environment /liliSupport the implementation and realization of the defined planning concepts /liliWork closely with business stakeholders to ensure that planning processes meet the client's requirements /li /ulh3Consulting Implementation /h3ulliDevelop functional and technical concepts and process designs /liliConduct and facilitate customer workshops /liliTranslate business requirements into SAP solutions /liliPerform hands-on SAP Customizing /liliProvide functional and technical guidance to the client /liliWork independently with senior stakeholders in a complex banking environment /li /ulh3Required Profile /h3pWe are looking for a senior-level SAP FICO professional (minimum 5 years exp.) with strong functional expertise in SAP CO and the ability to operate comfortably between business requirements, process design, and technical SAP implementation. /ph3Essential Requirements /h3ulliSeveral years of hands-on SAP FICO consulting experience /liliStrong expertise in SAP CO, particularly CO planning / Digital Planning /liliExperience in the conceptualization and realization of planning processes /liliProven experience with S/4HANA Brownfield Migrations / Transformations /liliStrong capabilities in process design and conceptual work /liliExperience conducting customer workshops /liliSolid hands-on experience with SAP Customizing /liliAbility to work independently with senior client stakeholders /liliStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills /liliFluent English or German /liliAbility and willingness to work remotely from Switzerland /liliMinimum 1 day per week on-site at the client in Zurich. 2 days per week on-site at the client is also possible.
