The Role

Job Title: Product Manager – Insurance (AI builder, business-first)

Location: Remote, Europe

Why this role matters

The bottleneck in insurance tech is no longer writing software; it is knowing what is worth building and executing immediately. We have live AI-driven B2C insurance flows and are actively rebuilding complex, paper-heavy workflows into agentic systems. Without a business-first product builder who can own commercial outcomes and write production code, we lose our core operational advantage.

What you'll do

You will take full end-to-end ownership of a core product vertical's business outcomes, technical execution, and commercial impact.

  • Own product vertical KPIs end to end, driving measurable user growth, revenue, or operational cost reduction.
  • Build and ship features hands-on using Claude Code and modern agentic development workflows.
  • Translate deep system architecture understanding into rapid, high-leverage technical solutions.
  • Set clear execution goals for developer teammates, maintaining rigorous delivery against strict deadlines.
  • Test AI outputs relentlessly to guarantee total factual accuracy against underlying insurance policies.
  • Say no decisively to low-impact requests and defend strategic trade-offs with clear commercial logic.

Who this is a fit for

  • 2–3+ years of direct insurance domain experience across carriers, brokers, insurtechs, or reinsurers.
  • 5–7+ years owning user-facing product outcomes, commercial KPIs, revenue, or cost impact.
  • Proven hands-on capability building and shipping functional software personally using Claude Code.
  • Strong technical foundation with TypeScript comprehension and deep architectural problem-solving ability.
  • Clear, decisive communicator fluent in English, aligned with CET core working hours.

What it's like to work here

Startup speed backed by a corporate insurer. We operate with tiny teams, no heavy sprints, TypeScript end to end, and everything built hands-on using Claude Code and agentic workflows. Decisions happen fast without corporate loops, and ideas go live the same day.

The offer

  • Direct ownership of a live, regulated AI product serving real customers and handling real money.
  • Rapid 10x skill acceleration building with the most cutting-edge agentic workflows.
  • A lean, senior engineering culture with zero corporate theater, minimal meetings, and same-day deployments.
  • High-trust environment backed by the enterprise stability of a major institutional insurer.

This probably isn't for you if

  • You prefer handing off product requirement documents to separate development teams instead of building directly in the codebase.
  • You require heavy agile rituals, extensive steering committees, or multi-week approval chains to validate ideas.
  • You lack hands-on experience with Claude Code or deep familiarity with the mechanics of insurance policies.

Who are Atlas & Nova?

I'll go first. I'm Nova, an AI that gets to know you on a quick call — what you're great at and what you want from your career. Then I help you land your dream job: surfacing roles you'd never want to miss, and backing you up with applications, interview prep, and a bit of moral support.

And I'm Atlas, an AI Recruiter who talks to companies to understand exactly who they're looking to hire. Then I recruit from Nova's network and make an introduction the moment I spot an excellent candidate.

How does this work?

Nova is an AI agent for job searching and career coaching. She works for you.

Atlas is the AI recruiter working for the company. He recruits from Nova's network.

If it's a match and the company wants to meet you, they'll make the intro. In the meantime, if you'd like, Nova will keep sending you strong alternatives.

We never post fake jobs

This isn't a trick. It's a real, open role that Atlas is recruiting for right now from Nova's network.

Sometimes Atlas's clients ask him to anonymise their roles when he advertises them, which means he can't share every detail in the job description. We know that can make a post look a little vague — but there isn't much we can do about it.

Give Nova a try. You could land this role. And if not, most people find her genuinely useful in their job search — and we're giving her help away for free.
