What This Role Is
This is not "run campaigns and send a weekly report." This is a founding operator seat. High ownership. High pace. A lot of context switching.
You’ll be the person who turns early signal into repeatable GTM motion. You’ll work across pipeline, partnerships, onboarding, revenue, and feedback loops into product—whatever moves the needle.
The Exciting Problems You’ll Solve
You’ll help us crack the hardest part of marketplace GTM: creating momentum on both sides without burning cash or credibility.
- **Scale Early GTM Loops:** Transition from "founder hustle" to a "repeatable machine."
- **Create a Flywheel:** Turn first customers into referrals, repeat searches, expansion, and testimonials.
- **Identify Top Segments:** Figure out which segments bite hardest (and why), then double down fast.
- **Nail the Packaging:** Package the product in a way that sells itself (pricing, positioning, offers, proof).
- **Drive Pipeline:** Create a pipeline engine that doesn’t feel like spam (high trust, high signal).
- **Build Distribution:** Focus where it actually works in recruiting (communities, networks, partners, platforms).
- **Accelerate Value:** Shorten time-to-value for customers and candidates so retention is natural.
- **Establish Rhythms:** Build the operating rhythm (CRM hygiene, funnel metrics, experiments, learnings).
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
You’ll own outcomes, not tasks.
- **End-to-End Funnel:** Own the full GTM funnel: sourcing → outreach → calls → pilots → conversion → expansion.
- **Develop Playbooks:** Run pilots with customers and turn them into repeatable playbooks.
- **Build Partnerships:** Engage communities, operators, platforms, and ecosystem players.
- **Create Collateral:** Produce lightweight but sharp content (one-pagers, outbound angles, case studies).
- **Implement Systems:** Set up CRM, reporting, deal stages, templates, and onboarding flows.
- **Bridge to Product:** Translate customer feedback into product priorities with the founders.
- **Maintain Urgency:** Keep a high-urgency cadence with weekly targets, fast experiments, and ruthless prioritization.
Who You Are
You’re an operator who loves 0→1. You’re comfortable being "the first," and you don’t need a big team to be effective.
- **Early-Stage Experience:** You’ve done early-stage GTM before (startup, venture studio, or scrappy new product line).
- **Action-Oriented:** You’re allergic to fluff and bureaucracy; you ship and learn fast.
- **Adaptable:** You can juggle multiple topics at once without dropping the ball.
- **Commercially Sharp:** You can sell, negotiate, and close—and you care about trust.
- **Structured:** You’re structured when it matters (pipeline discipline, clean notes, clear next steps).
- **Executive Presence:** You’re comfortable talking to senior stakeholders (Founders, Heads of People, CxOs).
- **Ambitious:** You want to grow with the org—today you do everything, later you lead a function.
**Bonus points if you have:** Worked in recruiting, HR tech, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS. Extra bonus if you’ve sold something that required changing behavior, not just buying software.
