Our ERP platform is a critical part of Wilhelmsen’s technology landscape, serving as the operational backbone for a large portion of our global operations. To support our continued growth and modernization, we are strengthening our ERP team with an experienced Application Developer – IFS Cloud.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting solutions that enhance our IFS Cloud platform and deliver value across the organization.

Your future duties and responsibilities

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting solutions within the IFS Cloud ecosystem while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, functional experts, solution architects, and external partners.

Development & Solution Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain customizations and extensions within IFS Cloud.
• Build solutions using Aurena, Projections, Lobbies, PL/SQL, and related IFS development frameworks.
• Develop and maintain reports, integrations, APIs, and data flows supporting business processes.
• Support solution configuration, enhancements, upgrades, and implementation of new functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and performance challenges.

Business Partnership & Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Analyze business challenges and contribute to the design of effective technical solutions.
• Document current and future state processes to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical advice and guidance on best practices within the IFS platform.

ERP Platform & Integration Support

• Build and support integrations between IFS Cloud and other enterprise applications.
• Work with REST APIs, middleware technologies, and data exchange mechanisms.
• Support deployment activities, upgrades, and platform improvements.
• Assist with user and role administration within IFS Cloud.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to quality assurance activities and validation of technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, maintainability, and user experience.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and automation efforts within the ERP landscape.
• Work closely with solution architects and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications and skills we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of Hands-on experience with IFS Cloud and/or IFS Applications development.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience with IFS Developer Studio, Aurena Framework, Projections, and related development tools.
• Experience developing integrations, APIs, and enterprise application interfaces.
• Good understanding of business processes and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with REST APIs, middleware platforms, and integration technologies.
• Experience supporting cloud-based ERP environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.
• Knowledge of Azure services and cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Experience working with global teams and external vendors.
