Responsibilities:

1. Manage a full spectrum of shipping operations, contracts management, and documentation.
2. Handle full set of shipping documents for quick turnaround, shipment process, contracts allocations, and vessel nominations.
3. Coordinate shipments with suppliers, buyers, ship-brokers, ship owners/agents, freight forwarders, surveyors, insurance, and liner companies to ensure smooth loading and delivery.
4. Verify Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
5. Communicate with shippers regarding schedules and logistics planning for various shipment types.
6. Liaise with banks on Letters of Credit, negotiations, and collection documentation.
7. Utilize SAP/ITAS or related systems for invoicing and matching.
8. Follow up on shipping claims, demurrages, receivables, payables, and client accounts.
9. Collaborate with internal teams (Commercial, Risk, Finance, etc.) to identify and mitigate execution risks.
10. Proactively resolve issues related to shipment execution.
11. Provide guidance and training to Operations teams as needed.
12. Adhere to SOPs for smooth operations.
13. Manage additional ad-hoc shipping or operational activities.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in raw or white sugar logistics/shipping.
• Background in commodities logistics/shipping.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
