Come, be a part of this change.brWinGD is looking for abrProject Manager New Engines (m/f/d)brLocation: WinterthurbrJob Startdate: By agreementbrWorkload: 100%brstrongResponsibilitiesbr/strongulliTechnical and administrative project leadership in 2-stroke marine engine development from project definition and concept phase to basic-, detail design and commissioning to external and internal product handover; /liliPlanning and Scheduling: Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation /liliCoordination: Work with multiple teams, including engineering, design and local product centres to ensure all project deliverables are ready on time /liliTesting and Validation: Oversee engine test planning to ensure the engine meets design specifications and safety standards /liliDocumentation: Maintain records of major project activities to ensure project can be audited against relevant standards /liliTroubleshooting: Identify and resolve any problems that arise during project execution /liliCommunication: Keep all stakeholders informed about the progress and any issues that may impact the project timeline /liliRisk Management: Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, and ensure that all possible scenarios have been given relevant considerationbr/li /ulstrongRequirementsbr/strongulliUniversity degree in (Mechanical) Engineering /lili2-3 years of fundamental experience in project management /liliMinimum 3 years of 2- or 4-stroke diesel/otto engine development, preferably in the marine sector /liliPMP (PMI) Project Management Professional) certificate or equivalent /liliGood understanding of the engineering process for marine engine development /liliKnowledge of the shipping industry and marine applications and regulations /liliAbility to read and understand technical drawings /liliPassion for prototype development and results achievement /liliAbility to adapt to a dynamic working environment and work within diverse teams with a pragmatic attitude /liliExcellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and manage conflict resolution if needed /liliExcellent oral and written communication skills (English)br/li /ulstrongOur Offerbr/strongulliAn opportunity to shape the sustainability and environmental impact of the shipping industry.
