This role belongs to our German subsidiary Wipro Technologies GmbH with a headquarter in Frankfurt. This role is open for all locations in Germany.

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in Terraform, AWS Organizations, and cloud infrastructure to design, implement, and optimize a Telco IT Landing Zone.

As part of this role, you will lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud networking, and automation efforts while ensuring compliance with AWS best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Supporting a large-scale, secure, and compliant AWS multi-account environment for telecommunications workloads.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the AWS Landing Zone in terms of functionality, security, connectivity and usability in accordance with the required roadmap, Telefonica guidelines and industry best practices.
• Implement, build and maintain Infrastructure as Code for deliverables using Terraform.
• Develop modular, reusable Terraform configurations for AWS infrastructure automation.
• Document and drive best practices for development excellence.
• Design and implement shared services for multiple providers.
• Drive the translation of technical requirements into designs and implementations.
• Guide developers tooling and automation strategies to improve ways of working.
• Mentor other developers on technical, operational, methodical topics.
• Extend and improve our CI/CD pipelines (code commit, code build, state machine, lambda, python).
• Extend and improve our security controls and compliance validation (iam, config, event bridge, lambda, python).
• Extend and improve our monitoring systems (cloudwatch, log forwarding, custom metrics, active network tests, lambda, python).
• Extend and improve our network services (route53_resolver, route53, vpc, tgw, dx, nlb, alb, apigateway, ec2 (for firewalls)).
• Implement and operate systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing.

Requirements:

• You must have Good Terraform skills.
• You have good experience in AWS.
• You have Python skills.
• Knowledge of recommended best practices for building secure and reliable applications in cloud environments.
• Appropriate role specific certifications (AWS, Terraform).
• You should have experience with Agile methods.
• Experience in CI/CD with Infrastructure as Code using terraform.
