Take complete ownership of transferring metrology technologies from R&D to mass productionEstablish and perform tester alignment and calibration procedures and ensure testers are performing as intended and providing accurate dataWork with engineering design team(s) to clarify/refine performance metric definition for test solution implementationDefine, design and develop optical metrology solutions including hardware engineering, test software implementation, and instrument qualificationDevelop benchtop and production instrumentation to characterize complex optical modules and integrated systems (display and optics)Collect and perform statistical analysis on metrology data to correlate to performance metricsExplore novel optical metrology technologies and work with suppliers on prototype developmentUp to 30% domestic and international travel required͏Minimum Qualifications BS degree in Optical Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline with 2+ years of experience or Advanced Degree in Optical Engineering, PhysicsHands-on experience in optical metrology development from concept to system validationIn-depth knowledge of imaging optics, image quality metrics, optical metrology and characterizationExperience in test automation (instrument control, data collection and analysis) using LabView, Matlab or PythonProficiency in statistical data analysis using Minitab or JMPProfessional level proficiency in EnglishProficient communication and presentation skillsMandatory Skills: VLSI Board Design
