SAP EWM Stream Lead (all genders)

Our clients are multinational companies that are beginning their S/4 transformation journey and are seeking advice. As the lead for a functional area, you define with our clients the right transformation strategy, roadmap, and guardrails. During the template definition you will ensure value realisation and guide our clients. We offer end-to-end delivery to ensure that our process designs will be deployed and prove their benefits. We are looking for an SAP EWM professional who is keen on delivering complex Warehouse Management solutions (often associated with an S/4 transformation) to our clients in an international environment. You will work with our clients in the template design phase to capture requirements, guide and lead your team (consisting of consultants onshore and offshore). During the design phase you will ensure that design items meet client expectations and deliver the expected benefits. After successful design and sign-off you will ensure successful delivery including go-live. On some projects, an international industrialized rollout may follow where you guard the design template.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP S/4 EWM transformation programs for clients, ensuring benefits realization through revised processes and end-to-end delivery.
• Serve as lead for a functional area, defining transformation strategy, roadmap, and guardrails with clients.
• Define and validate template designs with clients, ensuring design items meet expectations and deliver benefits; oversee delivery and go-live.
• Coordinate an international team of consultants (onshore and offshore) during template design and delivery, including complex warehouse management solutions.
• Act as guardian for design templates on projects with potential international rollout.

Required Skills/Experience

• Experience in SAP EWM implementations as stream lead or solution architect, including EWM integration into SAP Transport Management.
• Process knowledge of integrations into EWM (Kitting, Value Added Services, Packing, Packing Calculations, Production Process); experience with 3PLs and 3PL warehouse operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of integrating EWM into storage automation systems, mobile terminals and devices.
• Proficient understanding of efficient warehouse operations, storage layouts, and warehouse processes (e.g., buffering, lanes, temperature zones).
• Techno-functional knowledge of EWM extensions (resource calculations, packing calculations, load management, transport splitting); ability to create and review specifications and solution concepts.
• Understanding of delivery methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, agile).
• Experience working with a global team and leading/offshore colleagues.
• Industry knowledge in manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Ability to communicate with clients at various levels (C-Levels, Business Process Owners).
• English and German fluency is mandatory.
