GENERAL INFORMATION

Employment Type: Permanent

Previous working experience: 5-7 years as a QA

At least 2-3 years of experience specifically with APIs

Working hours: 40hrs/week

Working Location: Berlin (Berlin preferred, but can do remote Germany if candidate is otherwise perfect)

Reports to: Sarah Hutchins

Desired start date: As soon as possible

YOUR CHALLENGE AT WIRE

1. Get ready to play a key role in our QA Team. You will work closely with Backend, various library teams, and other teams regularly. You will present the results of the findings and their mitigations to internal stakeholders.
2. Develop test plans for Backend, library, and other integration releases.
3. Work with platform teams and QAs to create integration plans.
4. Support automation around integrations.
5. Collaborate with developers, platform product owners, and QAs.
6. Analyse risk areas and existing defects.
7. Optimise processes for high value for time spent.
8. Present findings to development team(s) and rest of QAs.
9. Support development team to deliver high quality products.

YOUR PROFILE

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 5-7 years of professional experience as a QA.
3. 2-3 years specifically on backend, API, and other integration focused work.
4. Fluency in English.
5. Solid understanding of automated, exploratory, and manual test practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
8. Experience with Jenkins is a plus.
