Overview
A Full‑time Researcher on Privacy in Multi‑Agents Systems (all genders welcome) at the University of Göttingen – Institut für Informatik, Forschungsgruppe "Computersicherheit und Privatheit".
Position level Entgeltgruppe 13 TV‑L/100%, limited to three years, starting as soon as possible.
Qualifications
- Outstanding M. Sc. degree in computer science.
- Solid background in privacy and security, multi‑agent coordination, machine learning, LLMs/VLMs, distributed systems, human‑AI collaboration, or interactive system design.
- Strong programming skills with experience in multi‑agent frameworks, distributed systems, or AI simulation platforms.
- Experience in designing and conducting simulations and experiments, including empirical evaluation of agent behaviors and system performance.
- Ability to conduct independent scientific research and demonstrate strong commitment, team orientation, and communication skills.
- Very good command of English and German, both written and spoken.
- Strong interest in pursuing a doctoral degree and contributing to high‑impact research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research on privacy in multi‑agent systems, identifying emerging privacy threats, designing novel privacy‑preserving mechanisms for agent communication and collaboration, and developing human‑centered approaches to ensure trustworthy multi‑agent interactions.
- Publish and present scientific results at international peer‑reviewed conferences and journals.
- Supervise student projects in this area.
