If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding role as the next step in your career, we have a fantastic opportunity within our Private Wealth department in either Newcastle or Bristol. Working as part of our Tax & Trust Accounting team as a Tax and Trust Associate, you'll take responsibility for the preparation of tax returns for our private clients and WBD Partners. This role falls under our hybrid working policy. Most full-time employees typically spend around 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home - however we operate a flexible approach in practice. We're very open to hearing from candidates looking for part-time working hours and are open to discussions around what that looks like for you., You'll be responsible for preparing tax returns for our private clients and the WBD Partners, and arranging payments of tax liabilities, working with external and internal contacts on the delivery of that work, under the supervision of managers. You will ensure compliance with all relevant tax law and provide ad hoc advice on personal tax-related queries throughout the year.

  • 3 years' previous experience of working within a personal tax environment
  • To be ATT qualified
  • To be proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience of the issues associated with preparing partners self-assessment tax returns
  • Experience of trusts and Inheritance Tax, and CCH tax software, is desirable but not essential
