About the role

We\’re looking for a passionate and results-oriented Lead Analyst to join and mentor our team of Game Analysts. You will develop new insights to shape data-driven decisions and continuously improve our players\‘ experience, thereby helping us generate business growth for years to come. Some of your other responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring the team of talented Game Analysts working together on one of our most successful titles.
• Building and maintaining solid partnerships with key stakeholders across the company to deliver actionable data insights successfully.
• Developing an analysis strategy and performing analysis of complex scenarios and AB-tests, both systematically and on a one-off basis. Helping your team define how best to measure and monitor our product and its features.
• Initiating and leading projects in light of opportunities & risks emerging from data analysis in order to improve and optimize new game features.
• Partnering with Data Science and Data Engineering Teams on delivering game-specific projects and company-wide strategic data initiatives.
• Communicating actionable results and findings derived from data throughout the organization in a clear, concise way to the leadership team.
• Being a part of the game’s leadership team and the ambassador of the Analytics domain in relevant discussions and forums.

About you

• You are passionate about the discipline and have proven working experience as a product data analyst in a leadership role, preferably in the app industry or related field.
• You can use SQL effectively, and you have some experience using Python or another programming language to manipulate and analyze data.
• You have good problem-solving skills and can look for logical connections between consumer behavior and data.
• You know your way around designing, communicating, visualizing, or reporting your results/analysis using industry-standard tools (Tableau, Looker, Periscope, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience in the games industry.
• Understanding of behavioral psychology.
• Robust understanding of more advanced statistical techniques suitable for analysis of highly skewed populations.
• Experience in predictive analytics, segmentation, and related areas.
