Based in the heart of Berlin, with over 300 employees from around the world, we work together to create high-quality casual games with engaging stories at the core of the experience.About the role We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Director of Information Security to lead our efforts in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive security program that ensures our ability to identify, protect against, detect, respond to, and recover from potential threats in a dynamic and evolving risk environment. Join our team to champion resilience, foster innovation, and lead the charge in protecting our organization from ever-changing security threats.Key Responsibilities:Identify Threats: Establish processes to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the organization’s systems, networks, and data assetsProtect Assets: Implement robust security policies, technologies, and frameworks to safeguard critical infrastructure and sensitive informationDetect Vulnerabilities: Build and manage systems for early detection of vulnerabilities and threats, ensuring timely remediation and minimal impactRespond to Incidents: Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including investigation, mitigation, communication, and lessons learnedRecover Operations: Develop and maintain a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plan to ensure swift recovery with minimal disruptionCompliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to relevant security standards, legal requirements, and industry best practicesAwareness and Training: Foster a culture of security awareness by delivering training programs and promoting best practices across the organizationLeadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams and work closely with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectivesAbout youProven experience in information security leadership, risk management, and incident responseStrong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirementsExpertise in security technologies, tools, and processes, including SIEM, network, cloud (AWS), encryption, and endpoint protectionExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsEffective communication and leadership abilities to engage with both technical teams and executive stakeholdersPlease note: Research has shown that some under-represented groups in the gaming industry (eg: women) tend to apply only if they meet every single requirement.
