As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner
Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz , we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated
PLC Developer
until 31.12.2030, with high probability of extension.
Roche Diagnostics is looking for a PLC developer with a strong electrical engineering background and experience with C# and Python. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with industrial controllers in structured text (ideally, BundR) and developing robust real‑time automation solutions. In addition to developing PLC code from the ground up, the candidate will support integration tests on the instrument and be responsible for the formal documentation of the control software. A key part of this role involves collaborating closely with the hardware and high-level software teams, so a solid understanding of electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, and component datasheets is essential. Hands‑on experience in electrical hardware design (cable drawing, wiring schemes, PCB design) is a must. The candidate will design modular, structured PLC software, interface with existing automation designs, provide support for bringing up new instrument modules, and ensure seamless integration between software, electrical hardware, and mechanical subsystems. Roche Diagnostics seeks a pragmatic problem‑solver, an interdisciplinary team player, and someone with a passion for creating complex, reliable automated systems.
