Workmates pride themselves on winning while having fun! This team is no different. The Enterprise Sales team at Workday helps the company to grow with clients in the Manufacturing industry by balancing integrity and innovation.

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will be key in our Field Sales Operations organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory.
  2. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
  3. Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise prospects and share the Workday value proposition.
  4. Develop relationships with net new customers with a focus on deal management and connecting customers with Workday solutions.
  5. Negotiate deals with C-Suite Executives to close opportunities.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams to achieve quota and manage multiple deals.
  • Experience managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting for opportunities.

Other Qualifications:

  • Proven experience understanding the strategic competitive landscape of the industry.
  • Able to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders.
  • Prior experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
