As a member of project teams, you’ll play a key role in the end‑to‑end implementation of Workday’s Financial Management product across a varied portfolio of customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, supporting the implementation of one or more Finance functional streams on any given project.

What You Will Achieve in Your First 12–24 Months

• Month 1: Complete Workday Core Finance & Practical Certification training; by 6 months, undertake specialist certification training.
• Undertake active project engagements under guidance of a Functional Architect or Senior Consultant.
• Collaborate with other Consulting Teams (Data, Integration) for seamless integration.
• Gain practical understanding of Workday’s implementation methodology across the project life cycle:
• Gather and understand Customer’s business requirements and demonstrate core Workday concepts using pre‑delivered solutions.
• Translate requirements into configured solutions, ensuring detailed unit testing.
• Support customers through multiple rounds of testing, resolving issues with the Lead Consultant.
• Undertake final deployment activities, provide knowledge transfer, and support post‑production.
• Within the first year, work on at least one (potentially two) full‑cycle implementation projects within your area of expertise.
• In the second year, continue building knowledge through additional training and multiple concurrent project experiences.

About You

The role requires a blend of functional and technical consulting skills related to business software implementations. You will be a trusted advisor to customers, delivering exceptional service.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting experience, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company.
• Corporate financial accounting experience or equivalent qualifications in finance & accounting.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.

Other Qualifications

• Relevant educational qualifications and/or experience implementing or supporting Financial Management solutions.
• Experience with a Tier 1 business software application (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, NetSuite, FinancialForce or similar).
• Business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Detail‑driven, problem‑solving mindset with a passion for customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting.
• Ability and desire to learn new technology quickly through various mediums.
• Resourceful and adaptable; comfortable working remotely and using a variety of tools.
• Comfortable working with AI tools.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (under typical circumstances).

Pay Transparency Statement (For EU Locations Only)

Primary Location Base Pay Range: €78,600 EUR – €118,000 EUR (Germany)

Additional Location Base Pay Range: €63,600 EUR – €95,400 EUR (Germany)

The role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan and/or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual share grants.
