Overview
In this role you will lead core financial workstreams on complex Workday Financial Management implementations, guiding customers from discovery through go-live. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to finance leaders, shaping solution designs and ensuring scalable configurations for DACH clients. You’ll mentor junior consultants while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align business processes with cloud-based finance solutions. This is a hands-on, client-facing position focused on delivering high-impact financial transformations with a collaborative Workday team.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead core functional finance workstreams on end-to-end Workday Financial Management implementations
- Act as primary functional expert during discovery and configuration phases
- Drive solution design workshops and engage CFO SMEs to map legacy structures to Workday data model
- Configure robust system setups and ensure alignment with regional statutory requirements
- Lead testing streams (Unit, E2E, UAT) and manage resolution paths for edge cases
- Mentor junior team members and review configuration quality across sub-workstreams
- Collaborate with Data, Integration, and Technical Consultants to architect cross-functional touchpoints
- Deliver 1–2 full-cycle complex implementations in the DACH market within the first year
- Expand multi-stream financial designs and contribute to internal practice assets in subsequent years
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years of functional consulting experience in enterprise financial management
- 2+ years hands-on Workday Financials implementation or configuration
- Deep understanding of corporate accounting, multi-currency operations, and statutory reporting in the DACH region
- Fluent in English and German
- Proven track record leading functional workstreams on full-lifecycle ERP implementations (Workday, SAP, Oracle Financials Cloud, NetSuite)
- Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience with GoBD, HGB, European VAT and localized DACH accounting requirements
- Familiarity with automation and AI/ML capabilities in financial apps
- Mentorship experience and ability to work remotely with modern collaboration tools
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
