Our client is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer (m/f/d) to support the setup and integration of High Availability IT systems within the aeronautical industry.
Your Mission
- Set up High Availability (HA) IT systems using standard commercial products such as HPE, Cisco, and Linux
- Install and configure Linux clusters for highly available services
- Configure network components and serial connections
- Work with Windows clients, server hardware, and Active Directory environments
- Commission systems at customer sites
- Deliver system administration training to clients within projects
- Collaborate closely with the IT and project teams
Your Profile
- Completed technical education or degree, e.g. Computer Science , or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of Linux , preferably Red Hat, within High Availability environments
- Knowledge of Windows clients, Windows Server 2019 or newer, and Active Directory
- Experience with network equipment and server hardware
- Structured, organized, and hands‑on approach to work
- Strong team player
- Very good English skills
- Basic German skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%
Nice to Have
- Experience in the aeronautics or aviation industry
- Alternatively, experience in critical infrastructure / High Availability environments , such as defense or automotive
- Experience with Red Hat, HPE, or Cisco technologies
