Why we are recruiting: To strengthen the leadership capacity of the Security Affairs function in response to the growing scale and complexity of global events and increased business travel, we are recruiting a Lead Event Security professional to act as the deputy to the Global Events Security Manager. Reporting Lines & Interaction
Reports to the Global Events Security Manager and serves as the second-in-command for event security operations. Works closely with internal teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners, including public authorities and private security providers. Breakdown of main responsibilities
70% Event security leadership and planning 30% Operational oversight and coordination Responsibilities
Act as deputy to the Global Events Security Manager, ensuring continuity and leadership across all event security activities. Support the planning and execution of security operations for major events (e.g., Annual Meeting, AMNC), in close coordination with the Global Events Security Manager. Independently lead and deliver security planning and operations for smaller and mid-sized events. Oversee security concepts and operational plans across the event portfolio. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Swiss and international law enforcement, and vendors. Provide on-site leadership during events, including team coordination and incident management. Preferred Requirements and Experience
Academic degree or equivalent and previous experience working in the field of security, law enforcement or military. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French and German; an additional language is an asset. Strong organizational skills. Experience in project management.
