Swiss Public Affairs Coordinator
Works within the Swiss Public Affairs Team at the World Economic Forum to build trusted relationships with Swiss government and public stakeholders across all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination and administrative support (≈50% of time) – manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks, arrange meetings, take minutes, draft correspondence, and liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Project management (≈30% of time) – provide project management support for year‑round initiatives, create briefing materials, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
- Event planning and logistics (≈20% of time) – organize the Annual Meeting and other Forum events, handle travel arrangements, invoices, and related logistics.
- Coordinate and support meetings or visits with Swiss government officials, parliamentarians, and partners.
- Provide logistical support for the Annual Meeting and other events throughout the year.
- Manage logistics for the team, including travel, invoices, expenses, and facilitation of collaboration.
- Organize public events, monitor Swiss politics, and map existing initiatives for future collaboration.
- Produce communication materials and support briefing preparation for Swiss delegations.
Requirements & Experience
- University‑level education.
- 1–2 years of experience in project management/coordination, event management or administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English; mother‑tongue Swiss German and/or German; additional Swiss national languages are an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with digital platforms and tools.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organisational, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, stakeholder‑focused environment and be a committed, collaborative, and solution‑oriented team player.
- Analytical capabilities and data‑savvy mindset.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with high‑level government and business leaders, leading experts in academia, international organisations, NGOs, and grassroots organisations.
