Job Description — Data And Partnerships Lead, Strategic Intelligence The Forum is at the forefront of digital collaboration, developing pioneering tools that support global decision‑making. Central to this work is the Strategic Intelligence platform, which combines curated knowledge and expert insight from the Forum's extensive network with machine‑intelligence‑driven aggregation of leading research, analysis, and data from respected sources worldwide. These capabilities are now widely used by global corporations for strategic planning and by public sector organisations tackling complex global challenges.
About The Role The Data and Partnerships Lead will play a central role in researching, commissioning, drafting, and editing content for the Strategic Intelligence platform and other Forum digital products. Drawing on experience in data journalism or a related field, the successful candidate will conceptualise and produce compelling data visualisations and lead the integration of datasets into the Forum's strategic intelligence and foresight work.
Key Responsibilities
Review, edit, and supplement texts drafted by external experts for the Forum's Transformation Maps (270+ maps published to date), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to Forum editorial standards
Conceptualise and produce high‑quality, shareable data visualisations
Lead the integration of external datasets into Strategic Intelligence outputs
Curate and draft content for the weekly and monthly Strategic Intelligence newsletters, with a focus on audience growth and engagement
Research and develop innovative formats to showcase Strategic Intelligence content
Manage a portfolio of Transformation Maps
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in journalism, communications, economics, public policy, international affairs, data science, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in data journalism, editorial content, research, strategic intelligence, or a related field.
Proven experience translating complex data and research into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
Strong editorial skills, including writing, editing, fact‑checking, and content curation, with excellent attention to detail.
Experience creating data visualizations and working with quantitative datasets to support analysis and storytelling.
Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Flourish, Datawrapper, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, external experts, and partners.
Strong understanding of global economic, technological, environmental, and societal trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.

Content consistently meets Forum style and editorial standards at the highest quality
Data visualisations are compelling, clear, and widely shared
Newsletters drive measurable growth in user numbers and subscriber tier level
Active contribution to broader team priorities as needed
