Overview
As Mobile Engineering Lead, you own the mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and drive end-to-end delivery from concept to launch and post-release iteration. You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape digital products that engage Forum members and constituents, delivering best-in-class mobile experiences aligned with the organization's strategic vision. You will set design standards, evaluate new technologies, and coach mobile engineers to foster a high-performing, learning culture. This role combines technical leadership with influence across a multinational organization to propel digital initiatives forward.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Facilitate collaboration and decision-making between engineering teams and product managers to ensure timely delivery
- Sponsor and coach mobile engineers, promoting best practices and career growth
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for the mobile roadmap and business value
- Own technical documentation and ensure clarity across the mobile platform
- Drive end-to-end product delivery across iOS, Android, and back-end services from conception to post-release
- Define and maintain mobile design standards and rapid prototyping for mobile-first interfaces
- Collaborate with product managers and platform leads to align on delivery plans and architecture
- Communicate technology roadmap decisions clearly to stakeholders
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years of experience in technical product management or engineering leadership with a track record of shipping mobile products at scale
- Experience deploying to Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Experience with Agile environments and JIRA or similar issue-tracking tools
- Proficiency in mobile programming languages (Objective-C/Swift, Android/Kotlin) and familiarity with modern back-end/front-end technologies
- Understanding of services-oriented infrastructure; micro-services concepts; Salesforce.com is a plus
- Strong design experience with mock-ups and rapid prototyping for mobile-first interfaces
- Excellent documentation and communication skills; ability to influence in a complex, international organization
