The role focuses on strengthening and maintaining effective IT and business security practices across all Business Units in a highly sensitive and regulated environment. /p pThe Security Officer acts as the primary point of contact for the Business Units on all security related matters, providing guidance, oversight, and support to ensure that security threats are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed. Close collaboration with business, technical, and compliance stakeholders is essential to ensure that security measures are effective, proportionate, and aligned with regulatory expectations. The position plays a key role in embedding security-by-design principles across business operations and promoting consistent security standards across the organization. /p h3Day-to-day responsibilities /h3 ul liOwns the security relationship with the Business Units, acting as the primary and accountable point of contact for all security-related topics, including security requirements, and decision support. /li liDesigning and implementing state-of-the-art security solutions that align with the directives set by internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats. /li liDeveloping and enforcing security best practices, including overseeing patch management and obsolescence processes to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure. /li liManaging and coordinating with third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with security standards and practices. /li liInnovating and streamlining security processes to enhance operational efficiency, introducing new methodologies while refining existing ones for continuous improvement. /li liCollaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate effective security measures into all business projects and operations. /li liEnsuring that security best practices are embedded in the design and implementation phases of business projects. /li liParticipating in operational committees to ensure that security requirements are adequately addressed and met. /li liOverseeing the implementation of identified mitigation actions as defined in the Risk Treatment Plan. /li liManage security incident response activities, including analysis and remediation of security breaches. /li liCollaborate on security certification audits and security assessments initiated by customers to ensure compliance with industry standards. /li /ul h3Who are we looking for /h3 ul liBachelor in IT, IT Security, Engineering or equivalent /li liCertificate in security (e.g. CISSP, CEH, …) is a strong plus /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in IT security or other relevant field /li liProven experience in navigating complex environments /li liGoogle cloud security and DevOps knowledge is a strong plus /liliKnowledge of PCI DSS, ISO27001 and Dora security frameworks is a strong plus /li liExcellent communication and presentation skills in English both verbally and written /li liGood level in German is mandatory /li liResults driven and persistent /li liMulticultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international environment /li /ul h3Shape the evolution /h3 pWe are on an exciting journey towards the next frontiers of payments technology, and we look for big thinkers, people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.
