Software tester for tools (m/f/d)

Location: Erlangen
Start of employment: 01.04.2025

Your tasks
As a software tester (m/f/d) you will be responsible for carrying out test activities in TXS platform development as part of product development.

This includes:

1. Planning, developing, executing and documenting software tests according to test plans, technical instructions and international nuclear standards
2. Creation of test specifications according to requirements incl. test automation
3. Evaluation of SW errors and creation of error reports in the ticket system
4. Review of development and test documentation incl. code reviews
5. Most of the documentation is created in English

Your profile

1. A bachelor\’s degree in computer science or comparable qualification
2. Several years of professional experience as a SW developer/tester for C/C++
3. Good knowledge of the Python programming language
4. Knowledge of the coding guidelines (MISRA-C:2012) advantageous
5. Knowledge of the GIT version management system desirable
6. Linux user knowledge desirable
7. ISTQB Certified Tester desirable
8. Previous knowledge of TXS software components desirable
9. Ideally, interest in hardware is present
10. English B1
