Founded in Berlin in 2015 by Jan Hase and Arkadi Jampolski, Wunderflats bridges the gap between verified landlords and carefully vetted tenants. As part of Europe’s housing infrastructure, we help activate underutilized apartments and support the evolving ways people live and work today.

Our Business Development team plays a key role in driving the growth of Wunderflats: We identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and continuously develop processes to further optimize our offering. To strengthen this team, we are looking for a dedicated person in the field of Business Development who enjoys working in a dynamic and goal-oriented environment, making data-driven decisions, and actively contributing to the company’s success.

Expansion Manager – Luxembourg

As an Expansion Manager – Luxembourg, you will drive the growth of Wunderflats in Luxembourg. Your goal is to sustainably expand our market in Luxembourg and ensure that more and more people find the right home away from home.

The workplace can be Berlin or Paris.

YOUR MISSION

  • You will further expand our housing supply in Luxembourg by acquiring new private (individual) landlords and key accounts for Wunderflats and successfully bring them on board.
  • You will be the first point of contact for tenants and landlords, supporting them from the initial interaction to the completed rental contract – with strong advisory skills, negotiation talent, and a clear understanding of their needs.
  • You will provide long‑term support to existing landlords, strengthen their engagement with our platform, and help them market their apartments in the best possible way.
  • You will ensure that booking processes run smoothly – acting as an interface between landlords, tenants, and our internal team.
  • You will monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and actively contribute your ideas to continuously improve our offering and processes.

With your contribution, you directly help ensure that Luxembourg becomes one of our most successful markets – measurable through bookings, revenue, and satisfied customers.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Fluent French skills at a native level and excellent English come naturally to you.
  • You bring relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management and have proven your ability to successfully acquire customers and build long‑term relationships.
  • You enjoy working independently, contributing ideas, and actively pushing projects ahead.
  • You are a true multitasking talent: you manage multiple projects at the same time without losing track or compromising on quality.
  • With your strong communication skills, confident presence, and approachable manner, you convince both landlords and tenants alike.
  • You approach challenges with a customer‑oriented and solution‑focused mindset, finding pragmatic ways to move things forward.

Nice to have, but not a must:

  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg rental market, or experience in building new markets.
  • Background in real estate, furnished rentals, coliving, or property management
  • Experience launching or scaling a new market or city (e.g., startup, expansion team)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Freshsales) and/or marketplace platforms
